From those wonderful folks who brought you "We Want A Hit" and "Til The Mets Win The Pennant" comes this repressed memory of an ode to your favorite baseball squadron..."You've Gotta Believe (Let's Go Mets)," straight outta 1985, apparently. The lyrics are almost too good in their historical on-the-noseness to not suspect a bit of Wag The Dog chicanery here, but that would be an awful lot of trouble to go to just to mesmerize the likes of us.

It's actually quite catchy. And note the hip hop royalty that's somehow involved.
