Why would you want to give up an out and open 1st base up for Reed to walk the lefty to face the lesser hitter righty? It's just bad all around.

Pretty vocal Metly contingent there tonight, if SNY mics are to be believed.

** Game Break **
Nats down 2-1 w/2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, tying run on 2nd (Michael Taylor), winning run on 1st (Clint Robinson), and the just activated Anthony Rendon at the plate -- Robinson gets picked off of 1st to end the game.

Six outs away from 1st place

The thing that I might need therapy for if I see again, is the double play. For that alone I would do it. Cause I can't afford therapy.

As per Gary, the Diamondbacks feature a footlong bacon-wrapped corndog that makes for a 3,000 calorie ballpark snack. Good God.

S.D. as well.

Robles comes in after a lead off single for the Dbacks in the 8th. Tsk tsk Gilmartin. May you go thirsty there in Arizona as well as here.

Two fastballs at the knees that looked rather strikish. OOO, he calls that one. full count.

I've got the Armando-playoffs feeling in me stomach.

For a "professional hitter," Cuddy sure does take a shit-ton of outright shitty at-bats.

A savvy manager might go to Robles here.

I'm thinking Collins sticks with his "save guy."

Wow, I must be a good minute behind over here. BIG HOMER! HAIL MAYBERRY!

His 1st 4 fer 4 game of his career...really?

We've already burned Robles.
Do you do the same for Goeddel, or one of the Torrii?

Terry opts not to.

Yeah, forgot about that.

I'd probably have gone Goeddel. I suppose Familia could use some work, but that eighth was pretty heavy lifting.
