MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Chris Aguila?I had to check that one out.Sure enough, he was on the Mets, too.How soon we forget.Sigh.Later
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I remember Aguila Gorilla. His first appearance and first hit came in an extra-inning jobbie that Carlos Beltran won with a walk-off homer. Aguila didn't do much but the 2008 team had a nice little winning run that helped turn around their season (for a while, anyhow) for the two weeks or so he was with them. A good luck charm. No Andy Phillips he.
