Miraculously.Yes, left out of that "accomplishment": - Appearances = 6. Appearances with baserunner(s) allowed = 6- Batters Faced = 20, Batters Retired = 12- Inherited Runners = 4, Inherited Runners Scoring = 4

Hell, deGrom had three singles by himself last time out so it can't be that hard.Although considering that we're starting as a lead-off hitter a guy whose last hit I can't even remember maybe it won't be so easy after all even while facing a pitcher who hasn't pitched all year.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 de3K's after a single in the first! Nice way to deStart!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Jacob wearing the home whites with pins and whiffing three in the first. Can't ask for much more.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Disappointed Lags wasn't looking to run there. Molina on the bench, runs coming dearly, a leadoff baserunner, you gots to force the issue.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Sawing off Heyward and finishing off away may work better than the breaking stuff down and in that he's been golfing to right.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 deGrom either striking em out or breaking their bats. I like.I don't like Jacob going after foul pops.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Would like to nip any "injured pitcher makes triumphant return" story lines in the bud.IN THE BUD!!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Three straight leadoff walks and yet our best offensive AB behind those is a Sac Bunt - and even That is a sign of progress.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 We are being no-hit.Hope that works.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 A pitcher who can bunt. How novel.Don't worry about pitching with no run support (or hits!) Jacob. You'll be fine.
