Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Today's win ends the Mets home stand with the team holding a 133 record at home. The team hasn't always been so hot at Citi, having a winning recorded only their first (4140) and second season there (a strong 47-34 showing in 2010), but now are just 12 home wins from getting even at CitiField.[fimg=700:2zwkw1yr]http://www.foodnfestivities.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Food-n-Festivities.-No-BS.-Citi-Field-1024x692.jpg[/fimg:2zwkw1yr]

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Not many lords and ladies showing up at the manor unless Harvey pitches. About 21K last night.I hope that will improve as the weather gets warmer and the fans begin to realize that this team is for real.Later

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 As delightful as a .769 winning percentage at home is, it's way too premature to be thinking about records. So of course, I'm thinking about records. According to Elias, the 1932 Yankees (62-15, .805) are the best home team since 1900 and the 1961 Yankees (65-16, .802) are second.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 If you count all three of the Mets homes (and not the one "home game" they played in the Tokyo Dome) the Mets are, overall, 2166 and 2079 with 5 ties at home.Polo Grounds: 56-105-0 .348Shea Stadium: 1859-1713-5 .520Citi Field: 251-261-0 .490

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 Well, crumbs. This might take a little longer.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 no worries, they should still be able to do it on the next homestand.
