Terry, I think that's enough of deGrom for tonight.

ewww. Shit, I think you might be right.

Not sure what he's waiting for here. Another fucking homer? It's enough.

Why stop at 6? Let's have him let up 8 or 9 runs and make a comeback impossible.

Well get a few back here.

I like deGrom; he reminds me of my son. Ah well, it's early and anything can happen!

I counted ONE swing and miss for deG over 3 innings. I don't know what his usual rate is but I'd be willing to bet it's normally one of the higher ones in the league.

The Yanx, who were supposedly re-building themselves as less of an all-or-nothing outfit, are looking this season like they did 2-3 years ago: a total HR-or-bust style of offense.

I really want to remember "racky tacky" for use in conversation.

Teixeira now has had 7 of his 12 hits this season go over the fence. Also 4 of 8 for Stephen Drew; 4 of 11 for ARod; 4 of 15 for Chris Young
That's fargin' ridiculous.

deGrom: 8 flyball/line drive outs to outfield. Compare to 1 infield popup; 1 ground ball; 1 strikeout; 1 out on the basepaths. They're not fooled tonight. I wouldn't put him back out for the 5th.

deGnome has like a six pitch bottom of 4th... hey, that's
something! Is Jeter in the building? Gary misses him.

It's fucking ridiculous is what it is (even in that stadium) and also unlikely to continue.
If they could simply decide to hit HRs that easily the team BA wouldn't be as low as .239.

This has gone incredibly fast so far.

Hey, if we ...I mean, when we come back and win this, imagine what folks are gonna say. Come back vs. the Skanks after 6 runs down, to continue the streak!

As McCarver would say, " ohhhhhh baby."

I thought the ump screwed Little Luke earlier (< thats Garys nickname for Duda, trying to trump The Lumberjack).

I have to say I did like Bernie Williams. Once at Yankee Stadium my son disappeared for about a half hour and when he finally came back he said "here Mom this is for you" and handed me a shopping bag. I thought "uhoh what did he get me Yankee-ish" and I opened it up to find a Bernie Williams tee shirt. I have to admit I loved it and wore it and some of you might even remember that many years ago I wore it for Mets luck, including under my dress clothes when I worked at the bank.

deGroms pissed, hopefully at himself. That should be it for Jacob.

Bad time to have an off night but, we all have em.

It starts now. Grandy, lead off single.

Under your cloths? That is sooo cute.

Fuck that ump. Who'd he toss?

Niese tossed from the game for yappin' at the ump!

Niese (and he had a point, that was a really bad first-strike call on Lagares).

I really, really like that the whole bench was yelling at that suckass ump.
