I'm not convinced Daniel Murphy won't answer the bell. But say he doesn't, who's your opening day second baseman?

Starting Eric Campbell or bumping Flores from shortstop to the keystone don't seem to be serious options considered by Terry Collins, but I include them here because in this poll, you are in control of Terry's mind, not him.

Talk it over with your infield brain trust and get back to me.

It really depends on the length/severity of the injury. If he's to miss 4 or 5 weeks than you go with Reynolds; 4 or 5 days, Muno.

Part of me hopes that Reynolds comes north, blows folks away and then sticks with the team.

I'm OK-ski with Tejada, since they're opening on the road, and he won't get the boos a million frustrations raining down on him. He may even get a chance to do something during the first two series that puts a nice shine on him before opening day. I'm guessing not a lot folks are going to be paying tribute to his .325 / .370 / .525 // .895 September last year.

If I'm Terry, Ruben starts at short, and Wilmer at second.

The time to get Flores to play 2nd was December, coinciding with the trade for a switch-hitting leadoff shortstop that didn;t happen.

Terry is terrified to move a guy from a position he's used to.

Seems like the gist is that they want Reynolds to play everyday at AAA and not ride the pine in the majors.

I'm sure we can find a 'source' for just about every player.

It does seem like Murphy isn't far away, just more of a reps thing. 4 days. Just keep den Dekker or Campbell or whoever your extra bench guy is and play Tejada and Flores.
