Our Outage Yesterday

As most of you know, the forum was off-the-air for much
of yesterday due to our hosting company suspending our
service. The suspension was the result of a request by the
Senate IT Department who detected a virus on this forum
because it was being viewed on their network by a poster
who works there.

The virus is not new to us, it was detected by JCL and maybe
one or two others at the end of last summer. JCL beat the
Feds to the punch! Back then, we simply renamed the in-
fected file which made it useless and everything went back
to normal. Right now we plan on doing the same.

We are confident that this 'glitch' is more a nuisance to us
than anything else and not a threat to visitors of the forum
If there are any questions, please use this thread to ask.

Glad you could resolve the issue so quickly. I'll have to work it into the next ad. Only Metsfan board shut down by the feds!
