Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 We're beginning to see what the scouts 'n touts saw in d'Arnaud for the last couple of years.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 3 more outs. wouldn't mind an insurance run.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 There was virtually no sign of this kind of talent anywhere either last year after his call up or in the early parts of this season, but suddenly it's everywhere. You've got to figure that all those repetitions he missed by being out the latter half of 2012 and the early part of 2013 stunted his progress a bit.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dare I say this team has ben a pleasure to watch these last 4 days and nights.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Maybe in a few minutes you can dare say that.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Shit. They get the tying run to the plate. The Mets don't want me to be able to relax.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dynamic interview this Travis is. Must have learned from Duda.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) Travis already sounds more mature then in his last post interview. He sounded 14 yrs old then. Sounded more like 17 tonight. Our boy's growing up. Edited July 9, 2014 by Guest
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Time to settle in and watch the Cleveland Native Americans try to walk-off the Yanx4-4 in bottom nine (how'd they get through 8-1/2 innings so quickly?)

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I'm looking for Edgy at the Nats game. I hope you don't have an orange shirt on Ed. It's difficult enough.

On those two Heyward stolen bases, instead of him making that "I hope that doesn't cost us" face, it was more of a "It's on me to draw a line here" face.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 That HR was not screwing around. It was a ... home run.
