Reminds me abit when he got injured stretching to get Carlos Lee a couple years back..
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Wonderful, will a relief pitcher be playing the infieldsomewhere late in the game tonight?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Sheesh. He's been hurt for 3 weeks? Not good. With the Mets these things turn into "out for weeks". So he'll probably be out for 3 weeks.I'm not saying he should not have been playing. I respect that he tried to play through it. But this sucks.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 With our luck, he probably aggravated it waving a towel.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 And, the 10 and 5 milestone kicks in on July 21. OK, so who is ready to Wally Pipp him? Flores? Campbell? Someone else? Anybody? Buehler?Later
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm sure he got a no-trade clause when he signed his big deal well before so the 10-and-5 rights kicked in.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Results in.... Anti inflams and rest no surgery..http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/story/_/id/11150180/david-wright-new-york-mets-require-shoulder-surgery
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I'm going to guess David Wright isn't Wally Pipp.
