Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 So I don't see deGrom getting that all elusive win tonight.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 So much for them being an even worse offensive team than the Mets.deGrom had some favorable BABiP numbers early on and now it looks like the law of averages are coming back to bite him. Not that he's pitching well tonight or anything but everything off a StL bat in this game, whether well hit or not, has found grass.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Gah. At least we got 4 plus out of deGrom. Can't have a chance to win em all kid.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Game is kinda sucking ass ... Jacob finally leaves.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 To be fair, there is a lot of grass here to hit.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Eveland's twitching bugs me out. Makes me scratch after itches that aren't there.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Kevin sounds fine tonight. Maybe because he's had no reason to get excited.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 This game was rotten. I also got the Cardinals feed, and while I've put up with a lot of MLB.tv giving me the other team's broadcasters, the Cards broadcast was intolerable, and I had to cut it and let Howie and Wayne take me home.Came away from the game with a strange sense of baseless optimism that things are about to turn. I think it was just the moral/aesthetic release of shutting that game off. It was like getting a joint popped back into place.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 What did the booth have to say about Gwynn? Did Darling mention that the guy killed him, six strikeouts or not?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Clearly the pitcher hitting 8th experiment is a predictable and colossal failure; just another example of [crossout:3t5bwdz8]Bobby[/crossout:3t5bwdz8] Terry trying to reinvent a 150 year old game and somehow prove that he's smarter than everyone else.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
