Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.

Colon VS. Gio Gonzo. Mets need a win.

Young Jr
Muffy
Wright
CYoung
Campbell
Lagares
Recker
Flores
Colon

Laggy & Flores in the mix.
& Campbell
I like.

Muffy with a solid single. Wright with a dribbler single (he's been getting many breaks with the cheap hits-gotta give him that). CYoung walks. 1 out.

WOW. Lagares robs Werth of a sure homer in dead center. Glove two feet over the wall. Amazin'.

Thats it for me. If Lagares isn't in center every day I want Shorty's head on a long stick.

5-2, runners on the corners for the Mets, up 5-2 in the 7th.
1 out.

I think we need more runs.

They showed about 15 replays of that catch in the last ten minutes, and I could watch a few hundred more.

Chris Young flailing at off-plate offerings, I could stand to see a little less.

As soon as I see a pic I'll post it. Just an amazin' catch. Straight away-he cruised back, smooooth, smoother than Beltran.

I still think we need more runs. I always think that we need more runs.

Extra rack of ribs for Mr. Colon tonight...

... along with some sort of prize for pitching well! Take care of your waitress!

I say rest EYjr tomorrow. CYoung in left and what Gary and Mex were saying, Lagares and Granderson.
No more Abreu in the outfield to start imo. He's a pro. He'll stay fresh for pinch hitting. Work Campbell in there more than Abreu.

Looking for that first career save from Sr. Mejia.

He gets no rope from me. HUGE K. He walked that guy I'da pulled him.

Good job Mejia.
Got the 'Cookie' save (3 run lead) for his first one as official closer dude, but, after the leadoff single, he never allowed the tying run to get to the plate which is a big deal when dealing w/the Nats who have potential HRs from just about everyone in their lineup.

Keith is right. The catch itself wasn't the half of it. The fact that it was dead center (how often do you see pullback at 400 feet?), and the fact that the guy usually positions himself shallow really tell the whole story.

Can't find a pic online yet. This is a screengrab. trying to upload the catch to Youtube but having difficulties.
