HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Later in his career when Vida Blue pitched for the Giants, I was lucky enough to have seats at Shea in the Giants owners' box right next to their dugout (got a broken bat from Dave Bergman, but I digress). I just thought it was the coolest thing that he wore "Vida" on the back of his jersey instead of the traditional last name.
