Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 At least we've got a couple of RHBs up against Dunn this inning
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I'm not looking forward to 20 innings tonight.Somebody needs to end this.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 It's not the type of game that will go 20, I think. Pitchers are real uncomfortable out there. Somebody would cough it up.Here we go. Recks-n-Effect.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I guess C. Young's flu-like symptoms were helped by some cure-like remedies.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Nope. No Reckage. So, I guess remaining on the bench is Nieuwie and the ghost of Chris Young. And our emergency backup catcher is... EY? Murphy?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Well, we're gonna have a fun defensive alignment if we manage to tie this up.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Chris Young plays second base, I assume. (When we tie this up)
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Howie sez: Tejada 2B, Wright SS, C. Young 3B
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Let's go Bobby. Now the all-time leader in home runs by Mets who wear No. 53.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Well that sucked a fat one.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Figures that Abreu makes the last out swinging at what looked like a ball but one this ump has been callign.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Hard to call this the first "give-away" loss of the year when we've been ahead in virtually every game at some point. But this one felt like more of a a give-away than the others even though we did that thing again where we only get one or two hits after building a lead.Disappointing night.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 My daughter's first laugh and clap in excitement of watching me get excited during a Mets game: Abreu's home run. That stat is going in the baby book.
