Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 All these walks, man. Something's gonna happen. Something else is gonna happen.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 He barely played last year, but I feel like he's always been over-aggressive and after the lead runners and waht not.But over-aggressive is what he certainly has NOT been so far this season. More like a guy who's so afraid of making a mistake that he's content just to get one out and doesn't even try for two.

It's gutsy and aggressive. He's never had the greatest hands, part of what makes him only an average SS defensively.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 ugh. They'll have to do this one without me.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 I think I'm just not gonna watch the bottom halfs. That way I think I'll sleep better.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I think we just got bailed out there by the no-doubles defense.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Whoa, that was a good pitch Trout hit out in the 1st. I'm not worried about him. He's no longer due.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Yea, I dare ya to try for third.Well, it wasn't a walk-off.Leave that to Albert.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Respeto por el brazo de Lagares alli.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Lagares's earlier throw probably kept the runner on 2nd there. Would have preferred he try it though. This one goes to (at least) eleven.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Wright just got thrown out at first from left field.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I don't know what it is-- new contacts, a weird smell in the air-- but, whenever the camera has zoomed in on him tonight, Ibanez has had a look on his face like a guy working in a shady, chop-shop-like garage: slightly grimy, eyes a little shifty, mouth in a wary rictus.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Gotta load em right? I don't want to get Shucked up.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 This walk-'em-loaded-with-Familia-on-the-mound strategy has the thick, lingering-home-run-pyrotechnic-display-smoke-y waft of failure about it.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Cheeeeeeeeeze&crackers. Hits the mo-fo.Wait a minute...a wary rictus? Ha.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Can't have a cigarette in an open air stadium, but you can do that. Isn't that special?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 This vision thing? Our on-field managers, they do not have this vision thing.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 And sadly my one game run comes to an end.I don't think I've ever won two in a row.
