G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Add a Colon to the pitching staff for the next 2 years. Mets just did that.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 It was a semi-colon there for a minute.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I wonder what Dice-K will wind up with contract-wise because I would have gone that route instead of Colon, especially with the second year, but maybe that's just because I have a prejudice against old, fat ballplayers.Tough to argue with what he's done over the past two seasons although it does get a bit easier if you look at the couple of campaigns prior to those and prior to when he was taking PEDs.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I'm not going to lie-- this is just like when we elect the dummy I didn't vote for: one part of me is frightened as hell, and the other part is happy for the material. Which we'll need a lot more of, just to make the pants. Because he's portly, Bartolo Colon is.
