This coming Monday, November 18, at 7 PM, Professor Ben Baumer, former New York Mets statistical analyst, will be giving a presentation at Tufts University regarding his upcoming book, The Sabermetric Revolution, as well as his recent project openWAR, an open-source formula for computing player value. Baumer held the position of statistical analyst with the Mets from 2004 to 2012, and is currently a professor of mathematics and statistics at Smith College. The presentation will be given in Barnum Hall room 008.
