That pic of the mezz box section in '73. That's right where I was sitting! If it was early in the game I should be in that photo. I looked and I'm not. Eh, maybe I was a box or two more toward left. Later in the game I was down in field box on the right field side, hoping for a walkoff. Had a great view of Rusty's wallbanging catch and Rose's homer.
Damn! If I was ever gonna be caught in a pic from that game it should have been that one. I had mezz box seats right on the rail. Can't recall the exact seat and section.

Isn't that the loge? Isn't that dark rectangular spot (one on each end of the stadium) the field level area that would later be converted to a refreshments area?

You are correct sir! Sorry, I get a little excited when I see pics from the series that I think I may be in. It's amazin' that at one point in game five I was captured on TV sitting in the corner of the Reds dugout and there is no record of it. There has got to be footage or a pic somewhere.

Wow, I was directly above them. Not sure how close to the foul pole I was but pretty sure I was not on the fair side of it.

Yeah, I made a mistake too. Only the right field section was converted to a refreshments area. I get excited whenever I think of refreshments.
