seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2013 Author Posted September 26, 2013 It's a parody video of a Hunter Pence-sponsored baseball camp where you learn to play like Hunter; that is, with zero coordination of your limbs.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Like a hungry man chasing a taco.I wonder if 3 and 40 would bring him to Queens.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Fun videos and nicknames aside... he's a risk at more than three years, as he's just coming off his first good year in four. And as the he more or less confesses in the video, if he's not hitting, he's not helping you on the bases or on defense.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Captain Underpants' 2010-2012 were all plus 20 HR 80-90 RBII cant explain the 22 stolen bases this year other than to say he must feel good.Pound for pound I prefer Hunter over Choo..
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Well, you're right. I misread his 2012 season.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Reports say that Pence is close to a deal with the Giants.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Pence is Texas bred and was a very Popular Astro...Kinda like Berkman who went to New Braunfels High School..I am a Pence fan myself and would be happy to see him find a home for a few years..I know he is gawky and such but he can hit..Good luck Hunter..I wish you were a Met..
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 That video is hilarious, filmed in NYC look like, was that the Whitestone?5 years $90 million I saw in Twitter.....they said it was close.

But the Giants know him and obviously like him. It's still shaping up to be a buyers' market for outfielders, so I'm not overly concerned for the Mets' choices.
