Somebody had a note in one of today's papers quoting the ever-popular 'unnamed NYM official' as saying they weren't happy with Ef-Ef's effort during rehab and that they couldn't wait for him to get off the DL they could "release his ass" the next day.

I suspect that they'll most likely just hang onto him for the next three weeks. They're paying him anyway so they might as well put him to work.
