Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Wahlberg & Denzel in an inter-racial, mis-matched law enforcement buddy movie ... haven't seen one of those before.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 The genius that ran on the field is a MFY fan and is tweeting about his deed:
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Kinda boring right now, but please Joe and Tim regale us with stories about great MFY's.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Wearing a Cano shirt some on twitter are saying...

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Sorry. That's what I meant. Keeping too many balls in air at home.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) This is slowly (painfully slowly) getting ready to be a Mariano love fest soon. Edited July 16, 2013 by Guest
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 There's always the glorious possibility of the blown save. That happened when they had the Mariano-fellatio-fest when the MFYs visited in May...
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Wright with the NL second hit of the night.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Tell me Domonic Brown is wearing a Mets helmet. Please.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Inexcusable managerial malpractice by Boxhy, allowing Brown to face the lefty and not pinch-hitting.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Feel like the seventh inning started like last night.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 This game at Citi Field suffers from a paucity of Mets players. And Mets broadcasters. And, you know, interest.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 I only just saw this Salvador Perez guy for the first time recently. He's listed at "only" 6' 3"/245 but he looks even bigger than that (maybe because KC has a couple of pretty short relievers).Whatever he actually is, you certainly didn't see a lot of catchers that size back in the day.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Would have been fine with me if Cliff Lee and Dom Brown saved some of their suck for later this week.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I seem to remember Prince was mostly decent on defense.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Yeah, they're really gonna get a six-out appearance by Rivera. Good luck with that notion.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Apparently there was enough booing that Fox turned off the crowd microphones.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Enter Sandman following Sweet Caroline is pretty funny.

Good luck with that notion. No, with just a 2-run (now 3) lead, Leyland was afraid of losing the lead in the 7th or 8th and risking not even having a bottom 9th for him to pitch. With a bigger lead he would have held him back but, without one, was committed to using him in the 8th.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Prince Fielder with cat-like speed ... wouldn't want to getin his way once he gets a head of steam going ...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 NL better score quick or else Harvey's going to have to start game one of the WS on the road.
