The Schaefer Mets Bench Player of the Month for June is first-time winner JOSH SATIN. It was a light month, Schaefer-wise, for bench players. Satin won with a mere 1.51 points coming off the bench, just ahead of Andrew Brown's 1.40. Of course, by the end of the month Josh was frequently appearing in the Mets starting lineup, which naturally limited his bench appearances.

Fun to see cameos from ex-Mets as Cowgill and Ankiel poke their heads out of the back end of the list. Lyon may be one also.

That is pretty crazy, isn't it?

Bobby Parnell can pass him this year, but he'd have to win each of the remaining three months. I suspect that it's Parnell who's giving Stokes most of his sleepless nights.
