It's nice for Zach Lutz to get the call, but there really needs to be another guy on the ML roster who can play shortstop. Who goes in if Q is out for 2-3 days? Wright? Valdespin? Do they jettison someone and bring up Hicks or Bixler, neither of whom are on the 40-man?

If you were wondering, Young, Satin and Lutz, in addition to their hit single "Sweet Lovin' Baby," have played a total of two games at short (Satin, 2008) in their major and minor league careers.

Valdespin is the backup shortstop. Wright's the emergency guy. And they certainly would do a callup if Quintanilla got hurt. And probably Lutz would be the guy sent down.
