Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Well, at least the last one was a strike.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Not a good time for the worst AB of the year from Wright.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Eric Young Jr. is our best outfielder.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I was waiting for Adrian Johnson to change that to a strike.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Brilliant. Walk for Byrd.Piteher change That's a lot of bullpenners to stagger through this seventh even if they don't score again.Bult let's have them score again.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 This game has really had the brakes slammed on. I think the top of the 6th started like an hour ago.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I couldn't tell as they went to the commercial break. Did Murphy get tossed?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 It looked to me like Teufel intervened in time, but I'm not sure.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 So who's going to get the GW-HR off of Papelbon?Get your votes in before it's too late.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 I'm going with Valdespin. Is this like the Buccigross overtime challenge? Do I win a t-shirt if I'm right? Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Buck don't like the home plate umping either.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 That takeout at second was more Valdespin's poor footwork than Rollins being vicious. Most second basemen get out of there unscathed.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 That inside pitch before the flyout was a ball. He got that right. Phillies announcers and GameDay both thought so, anyhow.

To me consistency is the most important trait of a good ump.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Don't mind me. I'm on a dump on the ump kick.Come on Aardsma, get thru this unscathed.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Aardsma gets it done. He didn't look good out there. They showed a close up of his face and I thought he was going to start crying. But he holds em. GJ sourpuss.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Papelbon has blown two games in the last week -- one he got the loss, in the other he gave up the tie before the Phils won in extras.
