Terry just left a flailing Scott Rice in to face Miguel Ozuna with the game on the line, clearly figuring he wanted him to face the lefties that were following, and he had no confidence in Rob Carson (or, possibly, considered Carson to be unavailable).

Terry clearly wishes he had another lefty he half-trusted.

What happened to Feliciano? I know he left for some personal issue, but I never heard if he came back.

Those who said Josh Edgn, come forward and collect your prizes. Josh is back with the team and pitching modestly well in low-leverage situations, as the starters have gone deep enough that the team hasn't had to play matchups as much.

Tim Byrdak --- Debuted in the Gulf Coast League, threw one inning and struck out one. Moved up to the high-A Florida State League, and he's appeared in two more games, thrown two more innings, and struck out two more batters. Has yet to surrender so much as a baserunner.

Mark Cohoon --- was starting in Binghamton when I first started this poll, and has been getting smacked around ever since, pitching five innings each in his last four starts and giving up 19 runs in those 20 innings, 17 of them earned. Not an option. Cohoon voters, what WERE you thinking?

Pedro Feliciano --- is a little ahead of Byrdak in rehabilitation, and comparably successful. He stared out in St. Lucie, appeared in five games, throwing 4 2/3 innings. He's given up three runs, one earned, striking out four and walking two. He then moved up to Bingo where he's been rock solid, going 4 1/3 over four games (did he actually throw more than an inning in one game?) while allowing no runs, one hit, no walks, and striking out three.

Darin Gorski --- Getting his head handed to him as a starter in Vegas, he's been demoted to Bingo where he's been more effective. Still starting.

Justin Hampson --- a AAA lefty reliever, with big-leaguey experience, was a more serious option, but sporting a 4.33 ERA and coming off his worst appearance last week.

Sean Henn --- moving ahead of Hampson as a lefty in Vegas, with a 4.05 ERA in 26 2/3 innings, but a real wild child, walking 17 to go with his 25 strikeouts. That's kind of like Byrdak, actually. And not good Byrdak.

Chase Huchingson --- (note: no "t" in that name) this guy is more serious. Young, southern, and angry, with a 2.21 ERA, 41 strikeouts against 16 walks in 36 2/3 innings, and a 2.26 ground-out/air-out ratio, I can see him appearing for the Mets before the year is out.

Adam Kalorek --- got hit like a pinata in AAA, but holding 'em to a .198 average in AA. Still young, but do it in the PCL and we'll talk.

Jack Leathersich --- was blowing minds like a Rush album when this poll went up and he was in AA. With 55 strikeouts in 29 1/3 innings, there was magic to be found. In AAA, it's a little more of a grind, with his ERA hitting 4.91 in seven innings, after sitting at 1.53 in Bingo. Don't be sore, though, as the peripherals remain right where you want 'em, with a .185 BAA (it was .181 in Bnigo) and 15.96 K/9. He may like a good burrito from Chipoltle, but he himself is the spicely salsa.

Like Huchinson, his last name achieves the "tch" sound without needing a "t."

Shawn Teufel --- Changed his motion and as he adjusts, is going in the wrong direction, now pitching for Brooklyn, but at least he and his dad can share a place.
