Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Harvey RBI single for the lead

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I really hope you're right Kieth. Matt up to 92 pitches. Might need pen help to shut that door.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 There's no might about it, I think. It's probably less than 50-50 that he finishes the next inning.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Wow. 14 in a row, last out of every inning a k....sweeeeeeeeeeet.Now at 103 pitches.oe: not every inning, all but one. Thats the way to "shut the door".
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Rice is getting up in the bullpen. I agree with Gary, if Harvey hits a bump in the 8th, bring in Parnell to close the 8th and do the 9th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Depends on how we describe bump. That spectacularly efficient seventh not only made me look the ass, but puts him a real good position to take a crack at finishing the eight.Two-out ground single = not a bump.One-out seven pitch walk = bump.

So that shit hit was the bump for me. Terrys not bumped. Oh wait, yes he is. Collins comes out to pull Matt.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 For some reason I can't explain I am totally confident our pen can hold/save this for Harve.Rice in.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Is there ANYONE here who feels better with Rice in to face the LHB than they would be with Harvey still chucking?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Nothing personal, Scott Rice, but I tend to see you and wonder what Feliciano is up to. Or Byrd. Or Randy Niemann. But go get 'em.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Whoa, tagged out at home.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Now with 2 outs it will be Burke v Castro
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Just how Terry planned it. Same result as a strikeout.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Holy moly I figured that single tied the game for sure. wooooooooow.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 If Buck had his mouth open that throw would have gone right down his throat.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Oh man Im still buzzin from that play at the plate. WHEW! Burke gets out of it. yeeeehaaaa!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Excellent inning, team-wise.Hopefully Parnell is available for the ninth.Or Lockwood.Or Mike Marshall.
