G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Ruben Tejada SSDaniel Murphy 2BDavid Wright 3BIke Davis 1BLucas Duda LFJohn Buck CMike Baxter RFJuan Lagares CFA Reason For Living RHP
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I'd like Baxter higher up (perhaps first, since Tejada isn't hitting..) or at least ahead of Buck but otherwise I like this lineup. a billion runs. you heard it here first.

Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Beauty of a barehanded play by Wright - and a Hodges-level cheat by Ike - gets Marte leading off. 26 to go!
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 1-2-3. Nothing close to leaving the infield.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Duda!oe: forgot I had this one. Only good 4 2day. Happy Mothers Day all!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Harveys human! Is Lagares? I dunno. Makes two diving catches on one line drive. Never seen that before. He dove, caught it, it popped out of his glove mid dive and he reached out while flying and caught it again. Amazin'
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Great grab on a great day!!!Lets play two!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I see the Mothers Day ribbon on Matts uni and I keep mistaking it for washed out blood.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 McCutcheon is quite the sight with pink, yellow, black, bling and dreadlocks..
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Could have been worse. Buccos take a 2-1 lead.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 So we've got Duda's HR and those two long drives by Murph & Wright.Other than that I can't remember the last time they even got a ball out of the infield.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Pirates have used more pitchers than the Mets have hits.

Its hard to drop one in on those speedy outfielders the Pirates have. They come out of nowhere and make the catch. But they only catch flys once. Our outfielders catch em twice.

Right now they're getting shutdown by no-names, guys just off the DL making their 1st start in nine months, and other assorted mediocrities.

And we always seem to have more trouble with no-names as opposed to established pitchers. Same with no-name hitters. What was that, Barnes 2nd homer this season?
