Very righty heavy.

I get Terry's Turnerlove, even if mine is not quite that strong, but I just don't get batting him fifth.

He's been hitting. that's justification enough at this point, even if you're going to ignore his reverse splits.

Ooh, nearly forgot the double-matchup. Screw all teams Pittsburgh!

I usually go lefty, but I can change it up for one night.

So much for Terry saying (or at least implying) that Ike was going to get the starts against all these LHPs (3 of the next 4 games I believe) to see how he fared.

They could have gone all righthanded by putting Recker at first and Turner at second.

The Buccos, interestingly enough, end up quite the opposite, with an all-righthanded bench.

I have the ability to use whichever hand isn't holding the remote.

The second-most arrogant Ump in baseball just cost the Mets a baserunner. Bite me, Joe West.

Shit. Turner was safe, called out trying to stretch a single to a double. Too close to complain, and a bad gamble.

Byrds sac fly plates Bucky. 1-0 Mets.

Another horrible call by an umpire. Nothing from Shorty and nothing from the writers on Twitter. It's like bad calls are an accepted part of the game and there's nothing that can be done.

That wasn't a horrendously bad call. And its possible Turner lost contact with the bag for a milisec (his first toe touch beat the tag, which was high). Not defending West. Just sayin.

No, it wasn't Angel Hernandez bad but it was wrong and Joe West is paid to get the call right. I'm sick of hearing about "the human element" and how it's "part of the game." If they don't do their job right, fire them. The Mets are bad enough on their own without Joe West and Tim McLelland hurting them.

Well, this got sticky in a hurry.

Had a feeling coming in to this inning that it wasn't going to end well.
That the Noffense is leaving the hurlers with no margin for error isn't helping things.
