Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Trying for 2 wins in a row, the fourth win out of the last five games, AND [u:2d3r3aug]the 2nd game played in a row[/u:2d3r3aug] for the first time since last Tues/WedHefner vs Peavy
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Some guy not in orange and blue hit one out in the first.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Well, yes, that'll tend to happen in Hefner starts.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Ugh. What a DP by the Sox. When does Harvey pitch?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Great play by the SS but we really gotta get Buck out of the middle of the lineup. I know, Ike can't handle it either and Terry would rather Doodoo not but geez. Buck is OBPing at 280 and dropping.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Bucks having a great season at the plate. Behind the plate? Not so much.

As long as he's on this team he's gotta handle it.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Damn Ike. I'm goin to bat for ya here and your strikin out.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Muffy looks awful now too.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 This offense gives me cause for offense.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 We got Peavy outta there. yay! 3 hits. 3 freaggin hits.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 The offense bites but can we get Wheeler up here before we go 10 under?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 (edited) Turner will get more at bats AND play the outfield. Me likey. Course theyll hit it right to him and he'll drop it, but me likey.Oh Solo Rios! Edited May 8, 2013 by Guest
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Justin Turner proves adept at playing LF as long as his primary occupation is watching home run balls sail over his head at ludicrous speed.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Y'know, I only started this IGT out of emergency duty having forgotten that about two weeks ago I banned myself from starting them for at least a month because we kept playing shitty whenever I did.So this game is all my fault ... and the fault of whoever was supposed to start the IGT. And of course the sucky offense.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I'm gonna say its 6-3 just so we know we did a lil less sucky.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Tying run at the dish. Well, honk my hooters.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Turner 2fer2, tieing run at the plate with Laggy up.
