Adams gets a goofy call for a strike there to Buck.

feel like they've been calling that all night. Are we calling it the "Zobrist strike" yet?

And he lets the ump know, as he walks away, that he better also give that pitch to our guy on the mound. That's something you can also do Ike. Say something loud, let the ump know you disagree, as you JWA. AS you are walking away. Okay, including my other wisecracks from other IGTs thats all the ways to do it. Lessons over.

Am I wrong, or is it the kind of game where the Met home runs-- because of their timing, and what's gone on around 'em-- kindasorta make it a MORE aggravating loss?

That's one way to look at it.

I'm thinking NOT making a $1M deal to Ol' Long Tall Nassau after his walk from Nats camp is what's really brought you down to earth.

Didn't see every inning of this game. Post game show (Phils-during Charlies post game press chat) mentions something about a player doing a backflip. I think they were referring to a Phil, but not sure. Anyone know what this is all about?

I didn't hear the question and I heard Charlie stumbling through his answer and I'm like WTF, some one did a back flip? He said bat-flip. lmao

I noted Domonic Brown doing it in the first inning, but not sure if that's what we're referring to.

I'm wondering if LaTroy Hawkins is some sort of Trojan Horse. And when the team gets back inside CitiField, a whole bunch of tiny Phillies are gonna climb out and wreck the place.

Yes it was Brown. And they asked Charlie if it bothered him. He said when he first came up (70s?) that stuff just didn't happen. Now, he says, players do it all the time, so it's not an issue with him. He stated that its not an issue with him but if his pitcher considers it an issue, then it becomes an issue.
lol. I love listening to Charlie in press conferences.
