I think that this is a fair and appropriate thing to track over the season. . .both are under One Year-$4 million contracts.

Did Sandy make the right call? It's obviously early, but so far the answer is "no".

Sandy made the call I would have made, so I can't be too judgmental on this one. But it's worth seeing how this pans out.

I would've signed both.

But at the time of non-tendering, they didn't expect Pelfrey to be ready, which was probably reasonable given that 4/1 was less than a year from Tommy John. I think these 'fast healers' like Pelfrey may be worth more than they seem.
