Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 At the moment, he seems to be third on the depth chart in the "closer" position behind Francisco and Parnell, but I think he'll rise through the ranks. Francisco won't last the season with the Mets, and Parnell will again struggle in the ninth inning and Lyon will get his chance, and he'll make the most of it. I think he'll end up with 15 saves, 3.90 ERA. He won't be the "lights out" guy the fans want, but he'll end up being the best choice.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 More than serviceable, though when he does blow one, you'll be able to hear the sucking sound from Riverhead. 54 G, 51 IP, 3.61 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 44 K, 19 BB, 6 gopher balls
