Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Is it true that Terry Collins was nominated for best animated short?

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Daniel Day Lincoln collects.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Total bullshit Obama announcing that..
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 It's through cinema, Obama said, that "our children learn to open their imagination and dream just a little bigger and to strive every day to reach those dreams."Especially Ted.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) This has to be the first time that the top six awards (Best Picture, Best Director and the four acting categories) all went to different films, right? On Edit - Wrong. It happened as recently as 2006, and before that it happened in 1957 and 1953. Edited February 25, 2013 by Guest
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 i got 9 out of top 10 categories, missing only supporting actor. I thought it would be Bobby D, not another one for the deserving Waltz. ARGOAng LeeDDLewisJ.LawrenceA.Hathawayx- R.Deniro (Waltz)screenplays - Django / ArgoScore - PiSong - SkyfallAlso got Foreign (Amour), Animation (Brave) and Doc (Sugarman). I would've won in a weighted pool, but in a straight up pool i missed most of the craft / shorts categories, so lost out.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I enjoyed MacFarlane. Helped entertain me for what's otherwise usually a pretty boring 4 hours. (The wife had it on, otherwise I wouldn't have watched)
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I'm old. Who the hell are any of these people. And why the hell wasn't Robert Redford or Gene Hackman presenting an award?
Guest sharpie Guests Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I got 17 of 21 in my office pool, missing winning by one (damn you, Ang Lee).
