ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 You can play spoiler, despite it all the Phillies are in the hunt.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Big Game tonight.Phils desperately need every one they can get and Lee has been pitching excellently.Dickey wants to make sure his book gets a good "new afterward" for the paperback edition, so you can be sure he'll be at his best.Terry needs the home-losses streak to end to keep his job and Fred/Jeff to keep their money. I don't think Sandy cares.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I want that Boston sports jock to call Sandy to ask him if he's checked out.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I think in 1978, then-Cub Dave Kingman hit more homers at Shea than any Met. Or at least he was leading for much of the year.

Sky King clouted 9 versus his former club that year, home and away.

Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Dickey on pace for 28 Ks.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 And Dickey throws away a pickoff throw. Oy. This isn't starting well. Well, the last few didn't end well. Maybe we are turning things around.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Torres can't make a throw to the plate from the infield.1-0 them.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Do umps in general have something against R.A.?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Very nice catch by Bay. And somehow he didn't hit his head on anything.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Maybe Jason Bay will make a useful defensive replacement. For Las Vegas.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Anyone know why they have built additional box seats by the dugout?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Gah! Yep, that was gone. I wanna say Hairston should have had that but it would have been an awesome catch. Nice try Scotty.
