Murphy is tired. Tejada is tired (according to TC). It's not even September yet and they're tired? Tired of losing, sure but not from playing baseball. I know that there's only one Cal Ripken, Jr. but come on. Yes, the grind can get to you but play ball.

Neither of them are begging out of games, but it's a long grueling season no matter what shape you're in. (and Ripken probably should have sat some of those games) in the death throes of a season going nowhere, might as well give them a rest.

Davis has looked gassed for weeks and he smacked two today! Sure they are tired. Just gotta play thru that kinda stuff.
