Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 1:10 first pitch -- so we're gettin' the pain over early today. Most notable thing about today is the ML debut of Collin McHugh (must be Italian)I hope he can hit.Tyler Chatwood is the opposing pitcher who I think is the same guy who hit the game-winning bucket for Hickory HS in the Indiana state hoops championship. In the baseball part of his life he's made just 4 starts this season and has an ERA of 5-1/2 and a WHiP of 1.63 ... IOW, we're dead.Over/Under on bunt plays screwed up = 2.5

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I got excited when I set the DVR to record the game, because I saw what I thought was a live Mets Fast-Forward in that slot, and thought, "They can cut out the middleman? Why don't they do this for EVERY game?"

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 How long has he been our leadoff batter? Like six minutes?OE: It's his second game there.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 That would not have been the point for me, but nice, he makes it as Muffy wuffs.

I don't like him in that spot in any case. But this is the time for Shorty to take a look at things for the future.
