Where: San Diego, California
Who: Padres
When: Tonight (late), tomorrow (not as late), Sunday (late afternoon)
Record: Bad, as in worse than ours (44-63) and deservedly so (402 - 465 RS/RA)
Stadium: Dog Kennel
Weather: Perfect with a near 100% chance of being perfect

Pitchers:
Dickey vs Clayton Richard (7-11; 4.14; 1.21)
Hefner vs Volquez (7-7; 3.51; 1.34)
Harvey vs Marquis (4-6; 4.08; 1.35)

Offense: Bad --15th in RS/G, 14th in HRs, 16th in BA, 12th in OBA, 15th in SLG
Pitching: Average-ish -- 8th in RA/G, 8th in Ks, 11th in WHiP, and are the only NL team to use more pitchers (26) this season than the Mets (24)
All rankings need to be thought of in conjunction with their pitching-friendly park

Previous series: May 24-27, Mets win 3 of 4
Lose first 11-5 (Hefners 3rd ML start) then allow a total of one run over the next three games with Gee, Santana & Dickey doing the hurling. Which means now all we need is Gee & Santana.

Lineup: Yes

Did Piazza get 250 for the Padres? I'd probably lean towards no on that, but first one I thought of.

Piazza was with the Padres for only one season, so no.

Mike Cameron? I'm not sure he got enough for either, but it might be close.

When I checked the Mets/Pads, I was sure that Cam would be one of the 250/250's. We're both wrong. Less than 220 games as a Met. More than 250 as a Friar.

This is really tricky. I'm going through my head for everyone I can think of, and for some reason I keep coming up with Larry Stahl, who probably didn't play 250 MLB games total. And Jim Gosger.

Could it be a pitcher?

Randy Jones.... Greg Harris ... Dave Roberts ... Mike Marshall ... Heath Bell ...

I'd say none qualify

Teufel? I'm pretty sure he was on the Pods after the Mets, but I don't think he was there for long. I'm out of ideas.

It's Teufel. That's it. Just three. All Mets teammates. You win a Padres Little League uniform in the style of your choice.

Good quiz, batmags. I'll take an '84 road, thanks.

I keep coming up with pitchers: Randy Myers, Bobby Jones. I know it wasn't Garry Templeton, so I got nothing. Seriously, who plays for the Padres?
