IGT 7/20, vs. Dodgers: Feels Like Tonight

Because of Scoscia. Because of Gibson and his stolen MVP.

Because we're coming back Home.

Because of Lasorda.

Because even though this road trip felt like a season-ender, It's Not Over.

Because if you're looking for a time to turn things around... What About Now?

Because What I Want is for Kemp and Co. to feel just as Crashed out as they did the first time around.

Because, if you recognize these song titles, you'll enjoy the postgame show so much more as a celebration than as a sop.

Johan doesn't have it this evening.

2-0 Dodgers, and only one out in the top of the first.

Kemp and Ethier hit him hard.

If anyone else does tonight, it's coy-tins.

Ha! Abreu sucks. Nice rip Danny boy. And Wrights sac to left puts us on the board!

Johan's been leakier than a long-distance runner after dining at an Indian Restaurant the night before.

With Batista starting tomorrow except some lost limbs in the bullpen this series.

Wright and Davis hit back-to-back Yankee Stadium Homers* and the Mets are back in it, 3-2!

Oh, that's bad. How many time in his career has Johan walked someone with the bases loaded?

I stand corrected.

"Abreu gets under it, and wrestles it to a stand still" says Gary, and as weird as that sounds, a very apt description of the fly out to left by Bay.

A little league moment for everyone involved on that deflected grounder off a diving Santana's glove.

Nooey Ks, and heads straight to the clubhouse to pack. They will need another pitcher for the Miguel Batista fireworks show tomorrow.

Nice graphic and all, Z, but this game's already lost in my mind. The bullpen can only sharpen my ire, not increase it.

That was designed to be used when we have a lead and go to the pen, but lately I've felt that going to the pen in those situations is no joke anymore. I think I'll retire that one.

Torres put a good swing on that one. It it drops they might have gotten something going here.

YEA Muffy! 3fer3. And Ruben scores with a mad dash, first to home. I like that. Make em throw the ball.
