G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 They knew we'd be in mourning over the awful starting lineup choices at 3B and P, thus the black patch.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Beltran with 7..will he advance? who knows..but they did go his whole time without mentioning the Mets. shocker.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Cano bringing shame to the Yankee family!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 The Bronx cheers for Cano-- and his consequent blanking-- were like chicken soup for the soul. I'm tearing up here.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Beltran is bringing it! Never questioning the trade for Wheeler -- but maybe we should have signed him back!

That's quite the faux pas.Funny, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the jerseys. Firstly, the regular blue logo would look better cosmetically. Secondly the 50th Anniversary patch (which btw, the Mets did a great job of IMO) would be extra special and extra kool.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Must they induce Jeter love for no apparent reason in the pre-game show?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Altuve looks like Mini-Me out there. Nice applause for Wright and especially Dickey.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 KC fans remember Carlos fondly!
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Cano boooooooooed again. I love how the Sporting News columnist was carrying on about how the booooooooing on Monday was some sort of PR crisis for MLB. What, suddenly we can't booooooooo Yankees?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Luke Brian. Never heard of him. Heartfelt rendition. But any slower and I'd be snoozin.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 This guy is sure milking his TV time.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Stealth bombers are pretty impressive!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Is the pre-game show tonight and the game tomorrow?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 There was a question today for the Commissioner Crypt Keeper about having a home team player participate in the Home Run Derby given the wrath of KC fans over the omission of Billy Butler. He didn't answer but it leads to the question of which Met could be in the Derby. David Wright has done it once and he said it messed up his swing. Ike?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I didn't realize Carlos has 20 homes. Damn.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Chipper should not count on a career as a motivational speaker.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Grrrr. This should be Wright's at-bat.
