The bench now has a too many middle IFs. Could use Pascucci so there's someone that is likelier to hit a 3 run homer (Nickeas, Turner, Q, Cedeno/Murphy, Nieuwenhuis/Torres).

Terry didn't use Byrdak because he wanted to save his relievers as he was one short. This, of course, is nonsense as it means he was managing for the 9th and beyond instead of the moment. It's one thing to look ahead, it's another to have Batista pitch against a great hitter in a tie game.
