Do you agree with not moving Murphy to 3d while Wright recovers? He's better at 3B but Terry wants him to concentrate on 2B.

I'll take either way.

One of the cool things about Murphy at second is that it sneaks a better bat in at a position where lesser bats typically play. I accept that may be fool's gold, but it's no more-so or less-so today then yesterday, and it's no more-so or less-so with Wright at third or Lutz.

I'll give a minus to Turner's glove, too. Cutting off Duda's throw, it looked like he realized he'd screwed up. Is there no back-up 1B? All things considered that was probably the least of the worries tonight.

Yeah, although it didn't help that Duda wasn't exactly in position to throw and so got off a weak one from a spot that shouldn't even need a cut-off. And of course watching that catchable fly ball land for a double (or was it a triple?) earlier on makes him the #2 culprit of the night.

But, Geez, Murph did what at the plate?, something like: K, K, GiDP, Pop-Out -- and in the field managed to turn 3 potential DP balls into a grand total of two outs.

Nag, the inadequacies of the Mets bench is a totally cromulemt topic.

I pass the IGT baton at 4-1. I was hoping to make it to tomorrow. With one of the main things working against the Mets being a division full of aces and near-aces (kings?), tomorrow we face our first one.

Murphy: -6.0

Interestingly, I quasi-scientifically arrived at -6.02.

Interestingly to me, anyhow.

really I just was just missing the 20000 units of body heat that would've allowed me to feel my fingers.

Midweek, in April?

Fonzie STILL gets under-respected around these parts.

might've been his choice, who knows. Maybe he'll be back for his bobblehead.

He was doing a meet and greet or something at a bank yesterday afternoon too.
