I think it's just a "fun fact." And naturally, the Mets are going to choose fun facts that have a positive spin.

I too would rather they filled that scoreboard real estate with substance instead of fluff.

They always do this, as long as I can remember at Shea even. They do it at most parks. It's always worse in the early parts of the season, or for bench players.

although I heard rumors it was in the clubs. It wasn't at the two ( of threE)craft stands I checked.

Someone with Blue Point last week told me on Twitter that they'd be getting cans of them soon, so maybe once that happens. Or maybe it was an opening day oversight. It was really crowded so not as easy to look around.
