Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Wow, I know I don't listen to opposing broadcasts much so this is probably old news for many, but the Cardinals radio guys..omg. They randomly made up stats for Duda. I think they may have given the total stats for all Mets RFers last year. There was a racoon or something in the stands. They described 2 of the 5 pitches to Mike Baxter.Said Santana had a rough season coming back from shoulder surgery last season. Were astute enough to know that Beltran used to be Santana's teammate "once upon a time"Called "VAl..entino Pas...cucci" a "young" Steve Balboni. Hoped he'd have a longer career than Steve.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 That's a bad assignment they're turning in there.Unlike Johan, who is pitching a gem against these Cardinals.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yankees fans don't realize how good they have it on the radio. heh.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Changeup gets Freese. Beltran struck out too.meanwhile on twitter: "@ryanfingawesome: A St. Louis fan literally brought a squirrel to this game and its running in the stands on the 3rd base side."
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 55 pitches, 4 Ks, no walks or runs through 5 for Santana. (okay, one of those Ks was Westbrook)
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 two singles (one by Beltran) leading off the 6th, Santana Ks Holliday swinging.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Freese down swinging wildly (loses the bat, again)
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Cards score a single up the middle by Berkman though, but Beltran gets caught in a run down trying to advance to third.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Valdespin ties it with a home run in the top of the 9th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 And Batista and Olson combine to cough it up in the bottom.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 Six innings.Six hits. One run.No walks.Six strikeouts. And not too big a big shot to ride the bus home.
