Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Which makes me wonder: to what extent did the having the Astros to beat up on help the Cards in the Wild Card race?Being a six team division has certainly been a disadvantage (particularly relative to the AL West) with regards to title hopes, but having the two worst teams in the league to beat up on for 32 games had to provide some consolation while pursuing the consolation prize.
