Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Good for Valentino! I think he was an Expo last time he was in the majors, but I'm not sure.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I'd have sworn that Val Pascucci had been up with the Mets before, in fact I was so sure he was that I went to MBTN to see what number he wore before. I am either conflating him with another player or there was talk of him coming up in the past.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 One fish, two fish score in the first.

smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Since he joined the Marlins, Jose Lopez has looked like the guy who hit 25 HRs and drove in 96 two years ago. He could be somebody to look at in the FA market this offseason.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Pascucci was hitting the cover off the ball a year or two ago. Jerry Manuel was asked (perhaps by fans) whether he had interest in adding him to the big squad and he acknowledged that he wasn't sure who Pascucci was.Meanwhile... what a great game!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Eight runs down... we go to the ninth.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Jason Bay goes back to the future.Mets down six.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Harris swinging 3-1 and the game is over.
