Don't know how played up this was on the broadcast, but advertised on the big screens at Citi Field Tuesday night was Wednesday and Thursday all tickets are half-priced. Details here. If you already bought a ticket for one of those two games you can apparently get a free ticket to a game before Sept. 1.

They could bring down the concession prices while they're at it (20-oz. carbonated soft drink: $5.25), but good and aware deal from the Mets. No matter what the box score says about 24,000 in attendance, our Most Exciting Tremendous Super team performed its exploits in front of a knot of commuters waiting for the bus Tuesday night...and not a very large knot.

A couple of us were bantering back and forth about the concessions discount and if they could cause it's Aramark and maybe if it's only preplanned "dollar dogs" or something. Or maybe they could toss you some Mets money with a ticket.
