I just read a report that Paul Konerko has hit five homers in five days, and I was thinking, "Hasn't that guy been playing since the eighties?"

I guessed that he was pushing 40; turns out he's exactly three days older than I am. Maybe I still have a shot! Put me in, coach! I'm three-for-three in summer softball league!

I figured he had about 500 homers by now but it turns out he's only got 386 so far.
