Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Let's hope Outman doesn't get very many of them.Weeks 2b, Pennington ss, Crisp cf, Matsui lf, Jackson 1b, Sweeney rf, Suzuki c, Sizemore 3b, Outman p.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Two-zip already?! Shammick!A little less Tejada and a little more DudaRuben leaves the lineup a little desnuda
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 You guys have been MIA lately. What's up?2-0 A's. More first inning runs for Gee but that's usually the only time he gives them up.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Dillygee's looked like shit so far, bad control in the first and every strike's been hammered.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Matsui's first time wearing the glove all season.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Bases bloated and one out. Serious trouble here.Five walks!Carrasco up!

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I'll bust this rookie back down to Buffalo so fast he'll never get that Topps rookie cup on his baseball card next year.More Playing The Game Right.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Oh, man, awful inning. Only two runs home?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Well, hell, they haven't hit anything.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Dare I root for a big hit from Bay here?(go Bay)
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 DJ drops a deuce on the mound and the A's drop one on the scoreboard.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 The fun part of the Mets season is ending..welcome to hell...Losing streak..trades...Football season..
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I feel the season ending, too, but to heck with football.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I walk into the bathroom and miss a Jason Bay HR?!?!??What are the odds?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 OK, leadoff runner on in the seventh. Bay swinging a hot bat. With any luck we'll get a furious comeback foiled by a bored ump.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Yeah, let's hit a few more pop-ups!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Two-out walk, tying run on triple deck. And Bay slugs a triple! Tying run on double deck!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Holy shit, what happened to Bay?(and Reyes?!?)
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Welcome to 2011, Monsieur.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 They swapped souls, baby.Hayne and Wowie say, "Stupid orange lines."
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 So Bay can sleep well now. Even if the Mets lose?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 OK, here's an interesting scenario -- supposing the original call on something like this was that it hit the wall and therefore not a HR. But the replay rules that not only did it not hit the back wall but that it never hit any wall at all but just Crisp's glove and that Crisp caught it on the way down (he didn't, but just play along for the moment).Does the video then allow the umps to change the call to an out even though it's only supposed to be used for boundary calls not out/safe calls?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Right call, looks like. How bout that factoid: Bay has had 2 HRs in a game 2 times alreday as a Met and 8 overall.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 HbP, and the tying run on deck, folks.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I don't mind a tease tonight.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Duda and Pride on the bench. They've probably got to let Tejada bat.
