Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Fine - I'm watching Glee. That's way less wimpy than this team is tonight.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Jason Bay: Still worthless.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 If these quotes from Gary about the Sports Illustrated article on Wilpon and the Mets are true just put a tent over this circus for a year or two.Losing 70 Million this year with 400 Million in debt?? And now 200 million buys 49% of the team. The market cap of the Mets has gone down by HALF just since the season has started.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Ronnie Paulino owes us Schaefer for tonight's game.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I'm not sure the ingenue Thole has opened the door for more runs by an opposing team in a game this season than the veteran has tonight. Holy hell.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Honestly, though, I think I'm more disappointed we aren't hammering fastball-slider-minus-slider.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Jason Bay removed with a stiff right calf and replaced by Fernando Martinez who ws possibly born with a stiff right calf. This has the look of a game that may foreshadow a very long remainder of the year.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Now officially the worst game of the year.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 I fear that in the future, we'll be looking at last Friday as the Mets high point of the decade.
