Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Continuing to gingervate.Hold it now.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 BOO YA! GREAT CATCH BY BELTRAN AND THEY DOUBLE OFF STUPID OMAR INFANTE!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Ginger's nice, but I still prefer to open up a nice bottle of vintage Beltran, and simply enjoy without reservation.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Shouldn't David be, like, lying down in a tub of warm gel or something?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Johnson's forearm may have saved a run there.Do you try to steal a run with the double steal here?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Let's open this fucker up please Mr. Bay.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 By "this fucker," did you mean "front foot, as you flail at the most predictable 1-2 pitch ever?"
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 That wasted chance may sting.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Crud. This Mike Stanton guy can jack a ball.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Credit big Pelf for getting Coghlan and Ramirez there to keep it a 1-1 game.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Friggin Bay. I wanna kill him.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I think Gary just obliquely suggested that most "kids who text" are stoners.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Please tell me Byrdak's in for Morrisson and Morrisson alone.

Sad, huh?The less we see of Mike Dunn, the better. The celebrated infield combo of Harris to Turner to Murphy almost turned a nice two there. At least we got the lead runner.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Izzy kinda looks perpetually hungover these days, doesn't he?
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) Izzy strikes me as more overanxious than hung over. He's been rushing his fastballs and falling behind a few too many batters, but he got the outs tonight. Edited May 16, 2011 by Guest
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Through no fault of the pitch calling. Seriously... let's throw curves on the plate to the guy who just effortlessly smacked a slider into the black.

smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I didn't realize Dunn was a Yankee last year. That almost makes me feel better. At least Murphy made contact.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Dunn was a Yankee prospect in 2009. He was traded to the Braves in the Javier Vazquez deal (snicker), and then traded to Florida with Infante for Uggla (he's the only one of three who's doing anything).K-Rod only took one pitch to get my ulcers going.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Are we really walking Coghlan to pitch to Hanley?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Yeah, I mean, it could work but also maybe not. If we got beat by Coughlan nobody'd say anything, right?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 Terry got some 'splainin to do even if this does work.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Well, yeah, I may get on base if I close my eyes and swing one handed. Doesn't mean it's necessarily smart.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Not what I'd have done, but I'll take the result. Now let's win this.
